Cooperative Convergence

As part of the nationwide Cooperative Convergence 2015 organised by Cultivate, Third Space co-hosts a number of arts and cultural conversations on 20th and 30th October in partnership with Galway City Partnership, Collaborative Ways, Galway Community City Network, Transition Galway, Galway 2020, Community Knowledge Initiative, NUIG, Cultivate, and Sheridans Cheesemongers.  http://www.cultivate.ie/

‘Transformative Power’ – Community Energy: Cooperative Success

Recognising the need for an urgent and deep cultural shift towards more equitable and sustainable ways of life… this event aims to initiate empowering community culture and conversations, inspired by co-operative stories from Dara Molloy, of the Aran Island Co Operative, Comharchumann Fuinneamh Oileáin Arainn, Eimhin David Callahan, Birr 2020 and founder of the Birr Community Growery, Mark Boyle of An Teach Saor and author of the Moneyless Manifesto, Eithne Verling, CEO City Museum and Coordinator Galway’s Cultural Strategy 2025, Prof Terrence McDonough, Galway City Community Network/ Founder of MA Advocacy and Activism, NUI Galway, Kevin Flanagan Artist and Activist, Collaborative Ways and Chaired by Ann Lyons, CKI, NUIG.
