With a focus on collaboration, culture and civil society networks, we aim to explore how Galway can embrace more participatory co-operative politics and commons approaches in developing and supporting sustainable cultural strategies.
In addition we will be presenting artist Seoidin O’Sullivan’s ‘Seating System’ and commons platform as a central public interactive site, to test the potential to offer a place where a collaborative commons and new ways of thinking and new ways of sharing ideas can occur, as part of an ongoing participatory art project on the commons by Collaborative Ways and Third Space Galway http://www.seoidinosullivan.com/#/lumen/
