Róisín Ní Fhaoláin

Galway based artist and native Irish speaker, Roisin graduated from the National College of Art and Design with a degree in Fine Art in 2004. During her college years, she was interested in mental health awareness and nature connection and worked on art projects with inner city communities. From 2005 – 2008, She worked with street children on urban gardening and art projects in India and has revisited several times since to continue work there. In 2010,  she graduated from the Kinsale College of Further Education with a certificate in Permaculture. She has been involved in several community campaigns over the years and continues to be an advocate for the environment and social justice in her work on community and urban gardening projects in Galway.

She also works as an illustrator and currently studying plant based medicine with a particular interest in our native herb and tree lore.
